According to a statement issued by the police, a follow-up search operation led to the recovery of several weapons and ammunition, including five pump-action guns; a Taurus pistol loaded with seven rounds of 9mm ammunition; an additional magazine containing five rounds of 9mm ammunition; as well as communication equipment.

Police said preliminary investigations revealed that personnel from the National Operations Directorate and the Intelligence Directorate, who were on a special assignment, responded to a distress call from a residence in Kwabenya and proceeded to the location.
