Ayawaso East MP Mahama Naser Toure has passed away after an illness. He served four terms in Parliament and will be laid to rest in Nima, Accra.

The Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East, Mahama Naser Toure, has died at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital following a period of illness.

A fourth-term MP, Toure served in several key parliamentary roles, including Vice Chairman of the Energy Committee and as a member of the Roads and Transport Committee, the House Committee, and the Private Members’ Bills and Motions Committee.
According to Second Deputy Majority Whip Richard Acheampong, Toure is scheduled to be laid to rest today in line with Muslim funeral traditions at his residence in Nima, Accra.
