Cristiano Ronaldo was on target once again as Al-Nassr secured a crucial 2-0 victory over title rivals Al-Ahli in the Saudi Pro League.

The Portuguese superstar continued his impressive form by scoring the opening goal at Al-Awwal Park, helping Al-Nassr strengthen their position in the title race.

After a tense contest, Ronaldo rose highest in the 76th minute to head home and give Al-Nassr the breakthrough.

The goal was another important contribution from the 41-year-old, who remains one of the key figures in Al-Nassr’s title push this season.

The win moves Al-Nassr eight points clear of second-placed Al-Hilal and 13 points ahead of third-placed Al-Ahli, although both chasing teams still have a game in hand.

Al-Ahli nearly opened the scoring in the 13th minute when Merih Demiral met a cross with a powerful header, but Al-Nassr goalkeeper Bento produced a strong save to push the effort wide.

Galeno also tested the hosts shortly after, but Bento remained alert.

Felix later provided the decisive assist when his dangerous cross from a set-piece was brilliantly flicked into the far corner by Ronaldo.

Despite an Al-Ahli defender on the line, the veteran striker’s finish found the net to send the home crowd into celebration.

Al-Nassr wrapped up the win in the 90th minute when Kingsley Coman finished powerfully past Edouard Mendy after being played through by Aiman Yahya.

The late strike ensured all three points for Jorge Jesus’ side in a major result for their title ambitions.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s latest goal underlines his enduring quality, with the legendary forward continuing to deliver decisive moments for Al-Nassr.

As the Saudi Pro League season enters a critical stage, his goals could prove vital in the race for silverware.
