MoH opens a recruitment portal for doctors and dentists - Here is how to apply

The Ministry of Health has announced the opening of its recruitment portal for medical officers and dentists in the 36th batch who have completed their housemanship and been verified by the Medical and Dental Council.

According to a notice issued on October 25, 2026, the recruitment exercise is intended to address staffing gaps in health facilities across Ghana.

The online application portal will open on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Eligible applicants will have until Thursday, October 29, 2026, to submit their applications.

How to apply for the Ministry of Health recruitment

Eligible medical officers and dentists are required to visit the Ministry's recruitment portal at mohrecruitment.com and follow the instructions to complete their applications.

Applicants must select their preferred districts and agencies as part of the application process.

The recruitment exercise is specifically for members of the 36th batch who have completed their house jobs and received verification from the Medical and Dental Council. Applicants who do not meet these requirements may not qualify for the exercise.

The ministry cautions applicants against recruitment fraud.

The Ministry of Health has warned applicants to be cautious of individuals who claim they can secure recruitment in exchange for money.

It stressed that the process is intended to be transparent and urged eligible applicants not to make payments to anyone promising to influence their recruitment.
